In 2010, our ReACT! Program will mobilize over 1,000 volunteers from local corporations, leveraging their financial support with a commitment of time and materials toward a sincere local investment in Buffalo neighborhoods. These Action Events engage groups in hands-on community improvement efforts to make neighborhoods more inviting to visitors and still build a future for development.

HSBC and ReBuilding Together (based in DC) kicked off our first event in September 2009. Over 65 HSBC employees worked with us for five hours and donated almost $10,000 in materials, tools and plants so we could start neighborhood beautification efforts in our Cold Spring neighborhood. The materials included supplies to weatherize an office building, install a fence, and plant edible landscaping, as well as develop our community gardens. See some of the work they did here.
